It all began with one little brother.

Born from one family’s journey, built for many

Zenly was born out of co-founder Kartika’s personal journey with autism. When she was 9, her little brother was diagnosed. Overnight, childhood memories became a mix of school runs, therapy appointments and hushed conversations about what to do next – and a front-row seat to how hard it can be to get the right support.

Kartika watched her parents search for special educators, therapists and mental health support, one phone call and waitlist at a time. She saw how stigma made it harder to ask for help, and how fragmented everything felt. That experience planted the question at the heart of Zenly: why should accessing quality care feel like a full-time job?

The journey that became Zenly

For years, Kartika’s family pieced together a patchwork of support – special educators who understood her brother, therapists who clicked, mental health professionals who made space for everyone’s emotions. Along the way, they learned which recommendations to trust, which to gently ignore, and how tiring it is to hold all of that in your head.

Zenly grew out of that lived experience. It is not “another app” for your home screen. It is a calmer layer on top of the system that already exists – pulling together therapists, sessions, goals, notes and next steps into one place so families do not have to remember everything on their own.

We are starting with a small, focused early-access group, so every feature is shaped in partnership with the people who use it first. The goal is simple: to make mental health and special education support more accessible, less overwhelming and a little bit kinder for everyone involved.

Building Zenly Together

We’re building Zenly side by side — shaped by two perspectives, one mission, and a shared belief that support shouldn’t feel like a maze. Our roles, skills, and lived experiences come together here, forming the foundation of what Zenly is becoming.
